RPL HLTINF005 Maintain Infection Prevention for Skin Penetration Treatments

*Our staff will assist you in every way they can to ensure you perform to the best of your ability and successfully complete your chosen training course. THink is however, unable to guarantee you will be issued with a certificate of completion nor obtain a particular employment outcome.

This course is delivered online, allowing you to complete the training in your own time, at your own pace. There is around 30 hours worth of online theory involved.

Students have 3 months to complete the course and can complete it anytime within the timeframe. The 3 months includes working through all the theory, checkpoints, quizzes and practical assessment component/s.

The practical assessment component can be submitted as a video (online) or done onsite at THink Aesthetics (call to book, limited availabilities).

The practical assessment must be demonstrated in a workplace that performs skin penetration procedures/treatments or in a simulated environment that reflects workplace conditions.
If you do not have a suitable environment for your practical assessment, please organise with a local workplace that performs skin penetration procedures to film at their location.
Alternatively, you can perform your practical assessment onsite at THink Aesthetics.

An autoclave is a requirement for this assessment.
If you do not have an autoclave you will need to come into THink Aesthetics to perform your practical/observation assessment, or approach a local dentist or salon that provides skin penetration services to see if they will allow you to film at their location.

As a last resort there are options for simulated environments to complete the practical and autoclave component/s.

Once you have paid for the course you will need to complete our Student Enrolment Form. Once the enrolment form is completed and your information is verified (e.g. USI Number), the online learning portal will be opened and you will be able to begin your learning.

Enrolments are only be handled during business hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
