Meet Liz and Rob, the faces of THink...
Liz McGowan
Owner & Managing Director of THink Aesthetics
Liz is the owner and Managing Director for THink Aesthetics. She is passionate about driving improvement in cosmetic tattoo industry standards, in everything from education to the quality of equipment and supplies, to the treatments technicians deliver.
Liz is a fully qualified occupational therapist and has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Curtin University. As a part of Liz's earlier professional studies she spent 12 months studying in the USA as well as conducted research at the University of Queensland and University of Western Australia.
Almost 10 years into joining the Cosmetic Tattoo industry Liz has never faulted on her passion for education, completing training all over the world with leading cosmetic tattoo artists in England, the Netherlands, Poland and Russia.
Liz is a prominent figure for technical education in the Cosmetic Tattoo industry and loves sharing her knowledge and passion with students.
Rob McGowan
CEO of THink Aesthetics
Rob is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of THink Aeshetics. He ensures that regulations and safety are a key focus at THink Aesthetics with his scientific and corporate background.
Robert holds a Masters of Science from the University of Leicester in the UK and Bachelor of Science from the University College London. In his previous corporate life Robert was Managing Director of Australia for an Engineering and Environmental Consultancy Company. In 2015 he left that behind and joined wife Liz at THink, where he continues to provide a unique skill set and valuable insight that sets THink Aesthetics apart in the industry.
Actively engaged in technical advancements in the Cosmetic Tattoo Industry, Robert is currently an advisor to both APAN (Australia's Aesthetics Practitioners Advisory Network) and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) Committee for Tattoo Inks.
Robert's knowledge on pigments and technical understanding of Cosmetic Tattooing is evident in not only THink Aesthetics' reputation but also the creation of THink Pigment Remover, the pigment removal solution that is changing the face of the industry.

Alice's brings passion and precision to everything she does and it shows in her work. Recognised as a talent from the moment she trained at THink Aesthetics herself, Alice has spent years working with leaders in the industry, perfecting her craft. Alice now stands alongside Liz as our lead cosmetic tattoo trainer, confidently leading students to cosmetic tattoo success and confidence.
Her warmth and talent radiates through every part of her work, embodying the values of THink Aesthetics through dedication to education and working with students to provide personalised training.
Alice presented for APAN in both ombre brow techniques and cosmetic tattoo removal. Not only known for being a talent at putting in the pigment, Alice's expertise shines in cosmetic tattoo pigment removal having presented and won awards for her work in the area.
