SHBBCOS003 Incorporate Elements and Principles of Design to Cosmetic Tattooing
SHBBCOS003 Incorporate Elements and Principles of Design to Cosmetic Tattooing is one of the core units of the new Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing (SHB50321).
The design unit will teach you basic elements and principles of design, discussing how they relate together to achieve the best design outcomes for your cosmetic tattoo treatments. The subject includes:
- Aesthetics of design
- Elements and Principles of design
- Design language and terminology
- Criteria for selecting design techniques
- Common drawing tools and materials
- Cosmetic tattoo treatment design processes
THink Aesthetics strongly recommends you complete the SHBBCOS003 unit together with SHBBCOS001 Provide Cosmetic Tattooing Consultations. This is so the practical assessments can be done together. The recommended order of the core units is:
- Function & Structure of Skin and Hair
- Colour Theory and Pigmentology
- Principles of Cosmetic Tattoo Design
- Providing Cosmetic Tattoo Consultations
The SHBBCOS003 course includes online learning modules and tests, client consultation forms and treatment plans, and a practical assessment component for you to demonstrate your skills with your own models/clients. By combining this with the practical assessment for the consultation unit, you will fully complete treatment plans with your models/clients, without any repetition.
For more information on what the unit covers, see training.gov.au.
This unit is a part of SHB50321, The Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing.
